Information we collect

When you submit a consignment request, we collect your name, email address, inventory details, and any optional information you provide, such as an Instagram handle or inventory/photo link. Wholesale sale requests collect your name or business name, Instagram username, card quantities and details, and estimated total value; an inventory/photo link is optional. We use Instagram to contact you about wholesale requests.

When a consignor account is created, we maintain account and authentication information needed to provide access to the portal. The portal also maintains consignment, inventory, sales, and bookkeeping records, including payout amounts, statuses, dates, payment-method labels, and transaction references.

Our hosting and authentication services may process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information, request logs, and session identifiers, to operate and secure the services. Consignment and wholesale submissions use protected identifiers derived from your IP address to help prevent spam. Wholesale sign-in attempts also use a protected identifier to limit repeated attempts.

How we use information

We use information for operating our consignment service and maintaining internal business records. This includes:

• Reviewing and responding to consignment and wholesale sale requests.
• Creating and managing consignor portal access.
• Displaying inventory, sales, earnings, and payout history.
• Maintaining bookkeeping records and meeting applicable recordkeeping obligations.
• Protecting accounts and preventing spam, fraud, and misuse.

We do not use consignor information for unrelated advertising or sell personal information.

Sensitive payment information and physical records

The website and portal are not intended to collect or store bank account numbers, routing numbers, payment-card details, payment-service passwords, or other sensitive payment credentials.

Sensitive payout instructions provided separately to GrimeTime Consigns are maintained in a physical notebook log. That notebook is not digitally connected to the consignor portal or consignment request system.

The portal’s ordinary payout records are separate from those sensitive payment instructions. Please do not enter sensitive financial information into request descriptions, notes, inventory links, or other website fields.

Service providers and disclosures

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their independent marketing or advertising.

We use service providers, including Vercel for hosting and Supabase for database and authentication services. These providers process information as needed to operate the website and portal.

We may also disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or threats to legal rights or safety.

Cookies and account sessions

The consignor and wholesale portals use authentication cookies or similar browser storage to support sign-in and account sessions. Disabling these technologies may prevent parts of the portal from working.

Retention and security

We retain information as reasonably necessary to manage consignments and wholesale requests, maintain accounts, keep business records, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable legal obligations.

Access to administrative records is restricted. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we maintain, although no electronic system or physical recordkeeping method can guarantee complete security.

Your choices and requests

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to request account closure. We may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law.

Children and external websites

Our consignment submission and account services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Links to external websites, including sales platforms and shared inventory services, are governed by those websites’ privacy policies.

Updates and contact

We will update the policy date when this Privacy Policy changes. The website/portal update date above identifies the latest published software or content update and does not necessarily indicate a change in privacy practices.
